Little Truckee River 2: 2.2015
The Little Truckee River high in the northern Sierra after the sources of
Webber Lake (which is often diverted to alfalfa farms in
Sierra Valley via the
Cold Stream/Sierraville diversion) and
Independence Lake via
Independence Creek.
Little Truckee River is on its way to
Stampede Reservoir from here.
These images were taken in February, 2015, when the area should be covered in snow that would slowly thaw into the meadows and river providing riverflow for months to come.
