Lake Tahoe: 1.2015
Lake Tahoe, headwater source of the
Truckee River, is Reno's largest drinking water reservoir (natural).
The Lake's surface level needs to be high enough to spill into the Truckee River riverbed. The lake level has not been adequately high for several years.
