Biographical Note
Claudia MonPere McIsaac has an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University. She directs the Creative Writing Program at Santa Clara University where she has taught writing since 1980. Awards include First Prize in the Georgetown Review Fiction Contest and the Brutocao Curriculum Innovation Award. Her fiction, poems, and essays appear in many anthologies and literary magazines, including The Kenyon Review, Prairie Schooner, and Calyx. She recently completed a collection of short stories set at Bass Lake, California.
