Biographical Note
John S. Farnsworth is Lecturer in Environmental Writing and Literature in the Environmental Studies Institute of Santa Clara University. He holds an MFA from Antioch University Los Angeles, and an MLA from Stanford University. He directs the Penstemon Project for Sustainability Across the Curriculum, and is a member of the Curriculum Working Group of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education, and the Academic Guidance Advisory Group of the American College and University Presidents' Climate Commitment. His current research is focused on nature writing of the Baja California peninsula.
