Jaime de Angulo (1887-1950) was born to Spanish parents and lived in Paris until he arrived in the United States at the age of eighteen. Over the course of his lifetime, he was a cowboy, a rancher, a doctor, a psychologist, an ethnographer and renowned linguist, and a novelist.
